Introduction

Ugreen is known for its reliable power banks, chargers, and network-attached storage solutions, but 2026 marks a turning point for the brand. During the Consumer Electronics Show, the company announced its strong entry into the smart home technology market by launching a new line of monitoring and security cameras powered by artificial intelligence capabilities.

The new SceneCare product line

The company named the new series “SceneCare,” which will initially consist of two indoor cameras, an outdoor camera, and a video doorbell. These devices are scheduled for release in the second half of 2026, and pricing will be revealed at the upcoming Berlin exhibition.

Advanced artificial intelligence features

The indoor cameras feature high-definition 4K resolution with pan and tilt support, along with a wide aperture for excellent low-light performance and color night vision. However, the most important feature is the use of “multimodal artificial intelligence” to recognize people, pets, and events.

If you own more than one camera, the system provides a “cross-camera awareness” feature. For example, if a child is crying within the field of view of one camera, another camera in a different room can broadcast an audio message announcing that “the child is crying.” Ugreen also notes that the AI can analyze behavior, such as sending an alert saying “a stranger wearing black is approaching the front door.”

Outdoor security and warning zones

The outdoor camera is designed to withstand weather elements and supports multiple AI-assisted monitoring zones. If someone breaches the outer zone, footage is recorded and saved. Moving closer triggers the “warning zone,” where a white light illuminates and a notification is sent to the phone. Meanwhile, the more dangerous “alert zone” triggers an audible alarm and flashes blue and red to deter intruders.

Integration and home control

In Ugreen’s vision for the ideal home, users can control all these devices via a new smart display that doubles as a Wi-Fi hub. However, the company emphasizes that purchasing the display is not necessary to unlock special features, as using the mobile app is sufficient to access all functions.

Market strategy

This expansion is a smart move by Ugreen to leverage its strong reputation in accessories to enter the lucrative Internet of Things market. Integrating advanced AI to analyze behavior rather than just motion puts it in direct competition with established home security brands.

FAQs

Question: When will the new Ugreen cameras be available in the markets?

Answer: The series is scheduled to launch in the second half of 2026, and pricing will be announced later.

Question: What is the “cross-camera awareness” feature?

Answer: It is a feature that allows cameras to communicate with each other; if one camera detects an important event (such as a baby crying), other cameras can alert the user in different rooms.

Question: Do I need to buy the smart display to use the cameras?

Answer: No, the display is optional and acts as a hub, and you can use all features via the mobile app alone.
