This idea underscores that innovation means making deliberate choices among conflicting options to achieve the best possible outcome. It requires balancing performance and cost, simple solutions versus more complex ones, and speed of execution against scale of deployment. Leaders must ask clear and direct questions: What capabilities are we actually delivering? How are we helping our customers move forward faster? What efficiencies can be improved?
